Buyers Home Inspection
A buyer home inspection provides an independent, detailed evaluation of the home's visible systems and components before you complete your purchase. I inspect the roof, structure, foundation, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, and other accessible areas of the home to identify visible defects, safety concerns, and conditions that may need repair or further evaluation.
You'll receive a detailed digital report with photos, clear explanations, and recommendations to help you understand the condition of the property and make informed decisions about your purchase.

Radon Test
I provide professional radon testing using specialized radon monitoring equipment to measure radon levels in the home. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can enter homes through the soil and can go undetected without testing. Testing provides homeowners and home buyers with important information about the radon levels in the property. Radon testing is available with a home inspection or as a stand-alone service.

Hi, I'm Vernon Ball, owner and inspector at Ball Home Inspection.
I grew up in Colorado and was introduced to construction at an early age, working alongside my father as he built homes. After high school, I moved to Texas and continued working in and around residential construction, including framing, remodeling, and other hands-on projects. Over the years, I gained more than 30 years of experience working with homes and understanding how they are built and maintained.
About 15 years after moving to Texas, I changed careers and began working in the airline industry. Aviation maintenance taught me the importance of accuracy, attention to detail, following procedures, and taking the time to do things right. Those same principles are an important part of the way I approach every home inspection.
I began performing home inspections in Texas after completing the AHIT Home Inspector Training Course and earning my Texas home inspector certification. I eventually retired from the airline industry and moved back to Colorado, settling in Buena Vista. Today, I am an InterNACHI® Certified Home Inspector and perform home inspections full time throughout Buena Vista and the surrounding areas.
My goal is simple: to provide a thorough, honest inspection and explain my findings in a way that is easy to understand. A home inspection can uncover a lot of information, and I believe my job is not just to identify problems, but to help my clients understand what those findings mean and what may need attention.
